WELCOME TO THE DENTAL STUDIO STIRLING
From the moment you enter our warm and welcoming practice, you will be greeted with a smile by one of our friendly team members and asked to take a seat in one of the comfy chairs in our reception area. If you arrive early, we have a range of reading material for you to enjoy while you wait.
If you have not yet filled out our downloadable new patient questionnaire we will ask you to provide your contact details and a brief summary of your dental and medical history, as well as any current medications you are taking. This will help us to tailor a customised treatment plan specially designed to meet your needs and to address any concerns that you may have. Any information you provide is treated with the strictest confidence and will only be used to help facilitate our benchmark quality dental care.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR APPOINTMENT
At your first appointment, our dentists, Dr. Suzanne Lim will conduct a comprehensive and thorough oral examination of your teeth, jaw and gums. In addition, she may also take some intra-oral photographs, x-rays and/or digital images to check for any tooth decay, hidden gum disease as well as conduct a free oral cancer screening.

At The Dental Studio Stirling, we believe everyone deserves benchmark quality dental care which is why we perform dentistry at the highest possible standard that we would expect for ourselves and our family.
During your appointment, our dental professionals will take time to get to know you, introduce you to our practice and answer any questions you may have. If any treatment is required, we will work with you to develop your customised treatment plan, taking into consideration your concerns, wants, needs and budget along the way.
At your first appointment with us, you may also receive a scale and clean with one of our highly-regarded hygiene therapists. During your appointment, one of our hygiene therapists will thoroughly clean your teeth in order to remove any plaque, calculus or bacteria build up, and remove any visible staining.
Once your teeth have all been cleaned, we will place some fluoride gel in your mouth to give your pearly whites an extra sparkle and protection before you leave.
PAYMENT CLAIMS & ASSOCIATIONS
The Dental Studio Stirling is a proud member of the Independent Dentist Network, the Australian Dental Association federal and WA branch and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, All treatment provided is eligible for rebates from all health funds providing you have ancillary cover. For your added convenience, we also accept a range of payment options including EFTPOS, credit and cheque and invite you to enjoy instant claiming through our HICAPS service.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU CHANGE DENTISTS
At the first appointment, all new patients will be asked to fill out our downloadable new patient questionnaire if you have not already done so beforehand. This questionnaire will ask you for your contact details, a brief summary of your dental and medical history along with any current medications you are taking.
In some cases, we may also require recent X-rays and photographs taken at your previous dentist to help us to tailor a personalised treatment plan specially designed to meet your needs and to address any concerns that you may have.
Once you have provided your written consent, we will contact your previous dentist and they will usually send through your records within a couple of days.
